Business terms
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms are for businesses that open a business account on Curcle. Curcle has not launched yet, and these terms are written for business accounts as they will work at launch.
CONTENTS
1. Who these terms are for #
IN SHORTBusiness accounts are for businesses, not consumers.
1.1These terms apply when a business opens and uses a business account on Curcle. In these terms, you means the business, and we and us mean Curcle Technologies Limited.
1.2A business account is for a business acting in the course of its business. You are not a consumer under these terms, so the consumer rights described in our terms of service do not apply to a business account.
1.3The person who opens the account confirms that they are authorised to act for the business and to accept these terms on its behalf.
1.4These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute about them.
2. Eligibility #
IN SHORTOne account per business, linked to a verified person who can act for it.
2.1Each business can have one business account.
2.2A business account must be linked to a verified person on Curcle who is authorised to act for the business. The business is responsible for everything posted from its account.
2.3The information you give us about the business must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.
3. What a business account can do #
IN SHORTPost as the business, with a business label.
3.1A business account lets you post on Curcle as the business. Every post from a business account carries a business label, so people can see it comes from a business.
3.2Paid adverts in the feed are separate from business accounts.
4. Price and billing #
IN SHORT£12.50 a month, paid in advance, renewing every month.
4.1A business account costs £12.50 a month.
4.2You are billed monthly in advance. Your account renews automatically each month until you cancel.
4.3We will tell you about any change to the price at least 30 days before it takes effect, as section 9 explains.
5. Cancelling #
IN SHORTCancel any time, and it takes effect at the end of the month.
5.1You can cancel at any time in the app or by emailing support@curcle.uk.
5.2Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current month. Your business account carries on until then.
5.3We do not refund part of a month.
5.4If we withdraw business accounts, or close yours other than for a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of the month you have paid for.
6. Posts after cancelling #
IN SHORTYour posts stay unless you delete them, and the business label and features stop.
6.1When your cancellation takes effect, posts made from the business account stay on Curcle unless you delete them.
6.2The business label and the business features stop.
7. Rules for business accounts #
IN SHORTBusiness accounts follow the same rules as everyone else, with no political adverts and no spam.
7.1Business accounts must follow the acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms.
7.2That includes the ban on political adverts: nothing from or about a party, a candidate, a campaigner, an election, a referendum or a political cause. It also includes the ban on spam.
7.3If a business account breaks these rules, we may remove posts, or suspend or close the account, as section 12 of the terms of service describes. Complaints and appeals work as that section sets out. If we close an account for a breach, we do not refund the rest of the month.
8. Liability #
IN SHORTOur liability to a business is limited, and consumer protections do not apply.
8.1Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
8.2Curcle is provided as available. We do not promise that a business account will bring you customers, views or any particular result.
8.3We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
8.4Apart from the liability described in clause 8.1, our total liability to you in any year is limited to the amount you paid us for your business account in that year.
9. Changes to these terms #
IN SHORTWe will tell you at least 30 days before these terms or the price change.
9.1We may change these terms, for example when we add a feature or the law changes. We will tell you about any material change, including a change to the price, by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect.
9.2If you keep using your business account after a change takes effect, that counts as accepting it.
9.3If you do not accept a change, you can cancel before it takes effect. If the change materially disadvantages you, we will refund the unused part of the month you have paid for.
